We have upgraded the underlying Kubernetes infrastructure with a more resilient Netmaker WireGuard mesh, improving the stability of pod-to-pod communications across nodes.
Behind the scenes, MatPortal runs on a distributed Kubernetes (K3s) cluster. Recently, we diagnosed and resolved a complex networking issue involving Flannel over WireGuard tunnels. By restructuring our Netmaker mesh network and updating node endpoints, we have significantly improved the uptime and latency of our internal services, resulting in a faster, more reliable browsing experience.
